Hi, I'm Thomas!

Thomas is a patient and creative swim instructor, with over 15 years of experience teaching children, adults, and individuals with special needs, to safety approach and enjoy swimming. Thomas grew up in NJ, between the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware River, where ocean and swift water safety were inherently a part of life. He swam competitively and coached a youth swim team, while earning a BFA from Rutgers University. Beyond the pool, Thomas is an artist, with 9 years experience as an art teacher in elementary school settings, and community art education centers. With a love for nature, he encourages imagination of aquatic animals and environments in lessons, believing playfulness to be essential in learning to swim effectively.
